Bedtime Stories

The UK Government is urging parents to read to their children (read the BBC news item here) well duh! We've been reading to little miss since before she was born (ok that may have been a slight exageration). My Mum read to me and guess I just carried on the trend.

Our current favourite is Peter Rabbit and we read it EVERY night. However, we have been through... The Gruffalo , The Smartest Giant in Town and Where's my Cow? among others.

My childhood favourite was The Owl that was afraid of the Dark

I loved it because it made the night seem so cool. Very Goth in the making *chuckle*. There is a very battered copy on her bookcase and I'm hoping she wants to read it soon.
