Why don't ELC make toy hearses? any other such questions

Little Miss was playing happily with her Happy Land stuff today when Mr V came home from work. She was enthusiastically rounding up some run away animals who had escaped their plastic pen.

Why isn't there a funeral parlour? he asks me, and where is the abatoir? They really should make these play sets more realistic.

Our daughter was hiding sheep down the back of the sofa telling me they had gone to the cinema and sending little boy off to the tooth fairy's shop. I'm not sure she is ready for reality!

When the sheep got back from the cinema he couldn't wait to tell the donkey how good Rambo 7 had been

Bath Flutes

You have never know fun until you have played 'Ode to Joy' on a set of these. Hang the kids (ok maybe not literally) these are too much fun for toddlers to keep to themselves. Also if you blow in one while releasing the plug you get a trombone-esque slide *giggle*

Best Present EVER

This was the main present we got Little Miss, Nana got her another book, and we thought that we would have to spend hours teaching her how to use it. Oh No she is so there, even to the point where she remembers to touch the green go button when she changes page.

Her favourites are the body bits page and the areoplane page.

Too young?

Is 2 and a half too young to learn how to play the guitar? Maybe I should start her on a set of Maraccas!
